Featured Work

The Day Company leads initiatives that strengthen businesses, communities, and local economies. Each project reflects our commitment to thoughtful strategy, disciplined execution, and long-term stewardship.

Every project contributes to something larger.

The Day Company works at the intersection of architecture, place, and purpose. We believe the built environment shapes how people live, gather, and remember.

What follows is a selection of five ongoing and completed projects — each one a thread in a longer story.

Current Work

Project 01

Pin+Barrel

Opening Fall 2026

A hospitality destination designed to contribute to the continued revitalization of downtown Selma while creating a place for gathering, entertainment, and community connection.

Project 02

BR Home Goods

A consumer retail brand focused on thoughtfully designed home goods and the long-term growth of an independent e-commerce business.

Project 03

The Selma Production Hub

The adaptive reuse of three historic downtown properties into a collaborative hub for entrepreneurship, media production, creative work, and small business development.

Project 04

Selma Housing Development Initiative

A long-term housing initiative focused on expanding redevelopment opportunities, increasing neighborhood investment, and demonstrating innovative approaches to community-based housing development.

Project 05

Revitalizing Rural America: The Plan

A 30-year initiative to develop, document, and refine a replicable framework for community revitalization. Beginning in Selma, Alabama, the work integrates housing, entrepreneurship, historic preservation, economic development, media, and long-term civic investment into a model designed to be adapted by communities across rural America.

The work is always moving.

Past work and projects in development — each one building toward something larger.

In Development

"Revitalizing Selma"

Documentary Series

An ongoing documentary series serving as Selma's living archive, documenting the city's revitalization while following the implementation of Revitalizing Rural America: The Plan. The series captures the people, partnerships, challenges, and milestones that shape long-term community transformation.

Past Work

Historic Single-Family Redevelopments

Residential rehabilitation projects that demonstrated the potential of preserving existing housing while strengthening neighborhoods. These early efforts continue to inform The Day Company's approach to redevelopment, housing, and community investment.

The best projects are the ones that feel inevitable — as if they could not have been any other way.

We'd love to hear from you.
